Where to find the Narita Airport eki stamp
Eki stamps (“station stamps”) are (free!) rubber stamps used as a kind of tourist souvenir around Japan. You can get them at train stations, subway stations, most tourist spots, museums, and more!
Finding and collecting eki stamps is one of my favorite things to do in Japan, and I encourage everyone to get some for their own collection.

Narita International Airport eki stamp locations
Narita International Airport has a a few stamps available, but I’ve only managed to get two so far.
Need to get from the airport into the city? Book a private transfer service from Narita Airport to Tokyo proper with Viator!
Stamp #1: there’s one at the Narita Airport Tourism Information center in Terminal 1.
The Narita Airport Tourism Information Center is located in Terminal 1, BEFORE security, on the first floor. When you get out of baggage claim, turn to the right towards the Central building and the desk will be across from some SIM card kiosks.
The staff keep the stamp behind the counter, so just ask for it from one of the clerks and they’ll provide it for your use.
Stamp #2: there’s a stamp at the JR Narita Airport Station, at the ticket gate. They also keep this one behind the counter, so you have to ask for it. This is the line actually AT the airport; there’s another Narita Station about 20 minutes away which has its own stamp.
Stamp #3: at the Narita Airport JR East Japan Travel Center in Terminal 1.
Stamp #4: at the Skyliner & Keisei Information Center in Terminal 1, Floor B1. You have to ask the staff for it.
Stamp #5: at the Observation Deck in Terminal 1, Floor 5. Maybe also at the Observation Deck in Terminal 2, Floor 4? (Thanks to a reader for the tip!)
Stamp #6: at the Traveler’s Factory Store in Terminal 1, on the fourth floor. This stamp is special to this store; be sure to check at the other Traveler’s Factory stores for more stamps! They have branches in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

Thank you for this information. I land at Narita and then travel to Osaka by flight. Where in Narita can I buy a Eki stamp book?
Hi! I recommend stopping by the Traveler’s Factory store in terminal 1 and picking up a notebook or two. They aren’t “official” eki stamp books, but they work very well for collecting stamps in Japan (it’s what I use!). The paper is really nice and they notebooks don’t cost too much; I think they even have one now that’s specifically for stamping, so the ink doesn’t bleed through.
Thank you for this post! We bought Eki Stamp Books and are looking forward to collecting stamps!
Have fun collecting stamps and let me know if you find something especially cool! 😀
